Part-Time Bookkeeper


This is a part-time, remote position in a newly paperless environment where we are still working out the ideal process. Ideally, the person best fit for this position would be available to work Monday to Friday, four to five hours a day. Month-end tasks are a large set of the responsibilities, and are completed between the first and tenth day of the month. 


Areas of Responsibility & Accountability: 


  • AP: enter G&A bills, POs, match invoices to POs, facilitate approval
  • Record keeping of in-transit inventory with multiple currencies and vendor terms
  • Banking: Record banking transactions daily of ACH deposits and expenses
  • Perform Month-End closing procedures; including reconciling multiple bank and credit card accounts, and 10 accounts between the inventory system and QBO
  • Monthly sales tax reconciliation for 19 states
  • General administrative work



  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks Online, 3+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience 
  • Intermediate Excel experience (vlookups, subtotals, & some keyboard shortcuts)
  • Experience working with connected CRM or Inventory and Accounting systems
  • Self-starter with a keen desire to learn and problem solve 
  • Comfort and experience working remotely in a paperless environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: This is a part-time position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time
