Clive’s first CX Representative will ensure smooth operations in the Portland showroom both for our customers and our CX team. Primary responsibilities are to manage showroom equipment cleanliness, local pickups, customer demonstration appointments, and general merchandising. Although selling a product or service is not the main job, the CX representative will help generate sales by providing information, setting up appointments, and cultivating customer loyalty through an excellent in-person experience. This role also helps keep showroom, kitchen, and personal spaces presentable.

  • FTE: Full Time
  • Schedule: Variable within regular business hours
  • Location: Portland, OR
  • FLSA Status: Non Exempt
  • Pay Range: Starts at $17 per hour

The CX Representative will:

  • Answer questions or requests from customers by phone, face to face, by email, or live chat
  • Have a clear knowledge of product specifications and functionality
  • Maintain a stellar showroom and handle point of sale transactions

Qualifications:

  • Must be a fast learner, technologically savvy, with knowledge of the specialty coffee industry
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to be on the phone most of the workday
  • Reliably positive, conscientious, supportive, and approachable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate internally and externally
  • Available to work Saturdays and Thanksgiving through Christmas
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once and to shift gears at a moment's notice
