Customer Experience Associate

We’re always interested in talking to coffee fanatics, current baristas, ex-baristas, and wanna-be baristas about a shift in careers. If you can see yourself spending most of your day talking with customers about our product line up and digging into their needs to find the best home setup, then this job is for you.

We are open to those who live in Portland, Oregon and remote workers in the Eastern timezone in the following states: Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote an excellent experience for customers and fellow employees
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and chats in a very timely manner
  • Identify consumer personas and track sales lifecycle in CRM
  • Have a clear knowledge of product specifications and functionality
  • If local, greet customers in the showroom and give demonstrations
  • Keep showroom, kitchen, and personal spaces clean

Requirements:

  • Must be a faster learner, technologically savvy, with knowledge of the speciality coffee industry
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be on the phone most of the work day
  • Must be positive and approachable
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Available to work Saturdays and Thanksgiving through Christmas
  • Self-starter/motivator. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
