The DF83 can be the grinder you need it to be. A single-dosing powerhouse with extremely low grind retention, the DF83 can intuitively grind the entire spectrum of brew methods from espresso to French press. Lending a more professional feel than the DF64, the DF83 is only slightly larger (two inches taller than its predecessor) and weighs in at just under 24 lbs. The DF83 also improved the body’s finish, giving the metal body a painted glossy white or matte black finish—a considerable improvement to the DF64’s vinyl wrap.

Turin listened to customer feedback and made some welcome changes to their popular DF83 grinder. They include a thoughtful set of accessories— a full 225g hopper, modified rubber bellows that help reduce popcorning, a dosing cup with an aluminum dosing ring for clean dosing, and a spray bottle for RDT. Most importantly, they improved the coffee chute design, significantly reducing grind retention.
