Description

The Fellow Prismo transforms your AeroPress into a pressure-brewing device that produces espresso-style coffee with thick crema and full body. This pressure-actuated valve attachment creates resistance during the press, allowing significantly more pressure to build than standard AeroPress brewing—resulting in a concentrated shot that mimics espresso extraction.

Key Features

  • Pressure-actuated valve creates 1-2 bars of pressure for espresso-style extraction
  • Produces long-lasting crema and syrupy body from standard AeroPress brewing
  • Includes reusable 70-micron etched stainless steel filter—no paper filters required
  • Compatible with all AeroPress and AeroPress Go models
  • Eliminates drip-through during brewing for cleaner prep and better control
  • Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup

The Prismo won't replicate the 9 bars of pressure from a traditional espresso machine, but it delivers remarkably concentrated coffee at a fraction of the cost. Whether you're traveling, at the office, or experimenting at home, this attachment expands what's possible with the AeroPress. Clive Coffee pairs every Prismo with the expertise to dial in your grind, dose, and technique—plus access to our full range of espresso equipment when you're ready to level up.

Buy it! I love it! Has been a great addition to my aeropress. Loved it so much I bought for friends and family.

Well constructed

The Prismo attachment is well constructed and does what its supposed to. I'm surprised the filter hasn't clogged after a month's daily use. Just rinsing with water is sufficient. So, I'm abandoning the paper filters.

Just when you think...

...your coffee couldn’t get any better. I love this attachment and it’s as close to espresso as you can get from a manual brewing method.

Doesn’t really work as expected.

It’s great that I don’t have to use a new paper filter every time but the huge benefit of using the Aeropress over a French press was that it’s so much easier to clean. With the Prismo it’s messier again. Not as bad as the French press but messier than with filters. Also, I have never been able to get the foam they show in the ads. No idea how they do that.

There is a good amount

There is a good amount of spill over if you press it to hard, and not enough crema if you don't press to hard

Hey Benjamin, thanks for the review! We are here if you need any brewing tips with the Aeropress!

Aero press with fellow metal filter

We have had an Aero press for years. Eventually the seal between the plunger and the body gets smaller and we buy a new one - sad but true. This time we also purchased the fellow metal filter. Not only does the filter produce nice crema, it means there is no need for paper filters. It's pretty awesome.

Way better

I make about 10 cups of coffee with this on my aeropress per week. After a few months, it's still working perfectly. I've had my aeropress for about two years.

Prior to getting this attachment, I dabbled with reusable screens, but they never worked as good as paper. I used the inverted method, because I didn't like the coffee running through into the cup until everything was properly brewed. It worked fine, but I hardly ever made a cup of coffee without making a little mess I had to clean up.

This thing is awesome. I brew the coffee over the cup, filter down, and it doesn't let a drop through until I plunge it through. Less mess. I didn't really notice a change in the taste of the coffee; this is just a convenience thing for me.

Clean up is pretty easy. Easier than using an after market reusable screen, but obviously not as easy as using the disposable paper filters that come with the aeropress.

if your aeropress is getting old, you might want to get a replacement rubber plunger for it. I noticed the seal on my two year old aeropress wasn't very good when using this thing. Once I replaced it, it was way better.

Overall, I really like this thing. I use it every time I want a cup of coffee. Haven't touched my french press in months. Very happy with this product.
