The very first time I used it, one of the small magnets came out of its housing and remained stuck to the portafilter. If that's what to expect from day one, I'm not sure how long the rest of the magnets will last.

Love this “skinnier” LUCCA 58mm dosing funnel—replaces a generic “much taller” non-magnetic funnel I only was able to use for my WDT but not for dosing. This one fits my Eureka Zenith 65 grinder perfectly and captures all the grounds (just had to drop the portafilter holder forks a bit to get it to fit), and it’s perfectly sized for my WDT (I was initially concerned it might be too skinny for the WDT de-clumping but it’s plenty tall that no grounds get on the counter). My magnets work just fine and hold the funnel on the portafilter tight enough. Not sure what problems with the magnets others have had. Perhaps they are lining the grinder button up with the funnel and not the portafilter body. I again really love this smaller size, plenty tall to keep all grounds off the counter while grinding and using the WDT. My only suggestion? Would be great if it came with a small round pad to store it on while not in use. But I’ll just rig one up.

Beautifully designed and fits well on my A53 mini, but my only major complaint it that the magnets are very weak, so much so that it can fall off the portafilter when moving around.

Fit nicely in the bottomless portafilter for my Gaggia. Allows for cleaner filling and de-clumping

Does NOT fit the Lucca A53 Double Basket. For some reason it fits all the other stock baskets (blind, triple, etc. ) perfectly but I guess the sides/flanges are too wide on the double basket so it just falls right off. Quite disappointing as I thought this was specifically made for the Lucca, yet it won't even fit mine. . .

Also, one of the magnets fell out literally right after I took it out of the box. Though I was given a slight discount for that issue.

Works really well. Aesthetically pleasing, holds grounds in. Only issue is I wish the magnet was a bit stronger because sometimes it’ll snap off when the portafilter sits under the grinder by itself. Other than that, great product!

This is exactly what I needed!

Espresso machine newbie here and didn’t realise what a difference the dosing funnel would make. Perfect for the portafilter and keeps our coffee station much cleaner. No waste and no more mess! Highly recommend.

Looks great, works as intended with a decent fit over the portafilter. Not sure why the magnets are there if it sort of clips on without them. Durability would have to be on the terrible side. a modest drop from around hip level to the floor will render it useless as it will bend, and the funnel will be unable to attach back onto the portafilter.

Thank you for alerting me by email that the Lucca 53mm dosing funnel was available. It's a "must have" for puck preparation and I use it regularly.

This 53mm dosing funnel is long overdue, but much appreciated. It’s pretty secure, but can be knocked loose. Fits atop my blind portafilter on my Mahlkonig grinder with the portafilter holder adjusted all the way down. I also appreciate the reasonable price. Thanks!

Am I missing something? All the other reviews are glazing this product but it doesn't really fit very well, the magnets aren't very strong and they come out of the funnel every time you try to use it. I'll got back to using the one I found on Amazon.

I wish I knew about this before! We were constantly getting coffee grounds on the counter and having to be slow about leveling. Now it’s fast and minimal coffee grounds on the countertop. We had to change our process slightly, but totally worth it. Love it!

Game changer. Should have purchased years ago. Fits perfectly on Lucca portafilter. Tried a generic funnel but tamper did not fit Using with Rancilio Rocky grinder

I am very happy with this. It is very nice-looking, the weight feels good, it fits the portafilter perfectly, snaps nicely in place due the light magnetization, and does the advertised job. It . But the primary purpose for me is stated as an afterthought on the website: I use a Weiss distribution tool and it has always been tricky to use without spilling the ground coffee. But with this item in place, that's no longer a problem. Great accessory.
