Not a quality grinder

I do not recommend this grinder. It stopped working after a few months and I had to send it back. The internal timer went haywire and completely stopped working. Also, I don’t consider this a well built machine. Lots of plastic

Great and versatile grinder. Really

Great and versatile grinder. Really like the looks. RDT spray is really needed for the beans as I experienced quite retention without the spray. Its like and small, really fits most space.

I don’t recommend

I had this grinder for almost a year now. It gets clogged like every other day. My weekly cleaning of this grinder is not everyday. Having to take it apart and brush all the grinds out. It’s extremely frustrating. I make espresso everyday. I do like how it looks and how quiet it is. They did send me a new blurr to replace however it started to clogged up again after 1 week.

Excellant

I’ve had the Opus grinder for a few weeks, and this is my impression so far:

It is incredibly quiet.

There is no mess after grinding. Zero.

The grind is consistent. I use a Moccamaster brewer and a setting of 9 ½ is perfect. I get a nice bloom on the grounds when brewing.

The size fits better under the cabinet. I no longer have to pull the grinder away from the wall to use it.

If the grinder sits for a period of time, the start button has to be pushed twice to “wake it up.”

I kept my previous grinder, a Baratza, as a “spare,” mostly due to reviews I have read about jamming, but fingers crossed, that won’t be necessary.

The delivery and service from Clive was amazing. I received the grinder within a few days.

Looks good, grinds bad

This grinder seems like a good deal but is very confusing to use and is very inconsistent in it's grind. I have had immense trouble getting any sort of consistency when trying to dial in my espresso shots and to be honest I wish I'd gone with another machine. Would recommend something else for espresso.
