Color, build and feel oh my

Got this after a Bonavita kettle from Amazon broke in 2 days. I moved from a auto drip Bonavita heating element was give me problems and with working at home I had time. I enjoy doing pour overs now. This kettle gives me confidence and is a joy to put in my hand. Well balanced it never seems too heavy or light. I now get consistent drinks in AM. Wife approved as well on color (get the black).

This thing is cool. Does what I need it to. I like the size. I wish I got the copper one so it would get a cool patina. I also guess I had it on too big of a burner as the plastic handled started to melt a little where it joins the kettle. That’s probably user error. Oh and the lid comes off I’m making tea and try to pour water out of it too quickly. Again not really being used for it’s intended purpose but scary to spill boiling water. It’s perfect for making pour over coffee just like it’s supposed to be.

This little guy is an absolute must have for doing pour overs. Extremely well balanced, easy to direct the hot water stream as well as it's intensity. Love it!!!!

So happy to hear this! We totally agree!

Piece of garbage

Don't buy this thing if you want to boil water. It's slow to boil and very fussy: 1. can't use too little water, 2. can't use too much water, 3. can't pour with lid position wrong or will spill out top, can't pour the whole contents without dumping out the top. It's not useful as a kettle for tea either because it pours so ridiculously slow. The only thing it does is look good. We are constantly amazed at how badly designed it is.

Nice looks, nice feel, no complaints

I currently use this with an Aeropress, so I don't need the precision of the pour over spout, but this kettle looks really nice and I like the flexibility to go back to pour over later if I want. The hand position on the handle is definitely different than many other kettle designs, but I find it very comfortable, and there are a couple nice options that work. So far I've had no issues with the handle getting hot using a gas stove. The lid is a nice fit into the body. It's snug enough that it has shown no signs of coming loose while pouring, but is easy to remove to fill the kettle. As someone who leaves my kettle on the stove all the time, I'm mildly concerned that the matte finish will be hard to clean if it gets oil spatter on it from cooking on adjacent burners, but so far I haven't needed to clean the outside of the kettle, so I can't comment on if that is truly a problem. Of course you can always just move it away before cooking with oil. Overall I find it to be a very nice kettle. I think it looks great and is comfortable to pour. It takes longer to reach temperature than other stovetop kettles because the base diameter is smaller, so you need to use a smaller burner, which means less heat into the water. I would guess this only costs me a couple minutes per cup, so not something that bothers me at all, but maybe an issue for others. Of course, if you want the fastest kettle it's probably not stovetop ...

Fellow makes some wonderful products. Glad you like it!
