Need to Know

The Lelit Bianca V3 is the espresso machine for home baristas ready to chase greatness. It's a dual-boiler, rotary-pump E61 with a flow-control paddle that lets you manipulate brew pressure in real time: the difference between good espresso and transcendent espresso. It sits in rare territory: prosumer performance without the commercial price tag. This is the machine Clive's team uses to teach pressure profiling at Coffee School, and it's the one we recommend to anyone serious about extracting the full potential from every coffee they buy.

What's New in the Bianca V3

Lelit refined an already exceptional machine. The V3 heats up faster, adds an electronic low-flow mode that simulates profiles without touching the paddle, and introduces four power modes: always-on, sleep, eco, and standby. The modular reservoir can still be detached entirely when plumbed in, shrinking the machine's footprint, or positioned on either side to fit your counter layout. It's the kind of thoughtful Italian engineering that makes daily use a pleasure, not a compromise.

Key Features

  • Manual flow control paddle: Adjust brew pressure on the fly to reduce channeling, ramp pressure slowly, or recreate legendary café profiles at home
  • Dual boiler system: Brew and steam simultaneously without thermal compromise; PID control on both boilers ensures repeatability
  • Rotary pump: Quiet, smooth, and stable — the hallmark of a machine built to last decades
  • E61 group head: Thermally stable, easy to maintain, compatible with aftermarket accessories
  • Switchable water supply: Run on the 2.5L reservoir or plumb directly; reservoir is modular and removable
  • Shot timer: Track extraction time without a separate scale
  • Four power modes (V3): Optimize warm-up time and energy consumption for your routine

Why Flow Control Matters

The Bianca's paddle isn't a gimmick. It's a tool that unlocks what professional baristas have known for years: controlling flow changes everything. Light roasts that taste sour at 9 bars? Drop to 6 bars during pre-infusion, ramp gently, and watch them open up. Dense, high-extraction espresso that channels? Start with a slow blooming phase to evenly saturate the puck before pressure builds. The Bianca makes these techniques accessible without requiring proprietary apps or firmware updates. Move the paddle. Taste the difference.

Ideal For

This machine is built for the home barista who has moved past the basics and wants control. You've dialed in a few recipes. You understand the relationship between grind, dose, and time. Now you're ready to manipulate the one variable most home machines lock down: pressure. If you're the type who buys single-origin beans by the bag, obsesses over bloom phase, and wants a machine that'll grow with your skills for the next decade, this is it.

The Lelit Bianca V3 is not the cheapest dual boiler on the market. It's the one Clive's baristas would buy if they were starting over. And when you call six months in with a profiling question, they'll still be here to help you chase it down.

Best flow control machine at this price point.

Really love this machine. It can make great classic espressos, and let’s you play with grind, dose, and flow to get the most out of tough to brew lighter roast coffees. The removable / re-positionable water tank is a nice quality of life feature I didn’t know I was looking for. And of course, it looks beautiful. I also wanted to mention the great customer service. I had a small issue out of the box, and Clive help me diagnose the issue and had a part sent out the next day.

Amazing machine and totally worth the cost. The flow control and the fairly quiet rotary pump combo is not available at any lower price. Great packaging.

Great espresso machine! I have

Great espresso machine! I have owned the Bianca for almost a month now and it is just as phenomenal as it could be. It has all my dreamed functions while offers the most reasonable price amongst all. Plus the customer service is great! Easy to reach and quick responses! 5 star no doubt about that!

Beautiful latte art! We are happy to hear the machine is working out. Thanks for choosing Clive!

Lelit Bianca

To paraphrase someone from HomeBarista.com, I'm the guy who walked past the kiddie pool and jumped into the deep end. Before receiving the machine I had never pulled a shot of expresso in my life. I am currently unable to take advantage of some (many?) of the advanced features of the machine, but I'm making some decent espresso and good lattes after about two weeks of working with it. I expect to pour nice latte art around first quarter of 2036 - LOL. The beauty of the Bianca helps offset the lack of this skill a bit. I finished plumbing it in yesterday and am looking forward to the extra convenience. As I alluded to above, I can't compare to another machine, but I'm delighted with it so far. My friend who has a simple Breville raves about it. The Clive team has been FANTASTIC for support and assistance!

I’ve had my share of

I’ve had my share of coffee equipment before, but my new Lelit Bianca is now the star of the show. It is an incredibly well built and capable espresso machine with amazing features and accessories included that put the machine above the rest. Walnut handles and knobs? Flow profiling? Yes please! The machine is well packed shipping wise and the ability to plumb both water and drain are incredible features that I now can’t live without. Great job, Lelit!

I’ve had the Lelit Bianca

I’ve had the Lelit Bianca for about a month and it is everything I want in an espresso machine. My old one died after 20 years (lacimbali) My favorite thing is the flow control paddle. The machine is solid and is built very well. It looks amazing on my counter. Clive coffee is excellent!

Fantastic machine. Great price.

Fantastic machine for the price. I was looking to upgrade from a PID Silvia and was trying to decide between the stability and consistency of the Linea Mini, the profiles and data of the Decent DE1+, and the beauty and usability of the Bianca. I went for the Bianca because of the aesthetics and the manual profiling. The shots and milk drinks I’ve made are better than anything I ever made with my Silvia. The Bianca has superb steaming power and I’ll never tire of the profiling paddle. Took until the last week until I could get the steam power under control enough to make REAL microfoam (I only make one milk drink a day for the wife— I don’t get a lot of practice!). I have not had a single bad shot from the Bianca in the month I’ve had it. The Bianca is worth every single dollar.

Very very very heavy for a single person like me to carry up and install on a countertop. Almost impossible unlike the Rancilo Silvia and Rocky. If I had known, would never have bought it.

Overall, now that I’ve been using the Lelit Bianca for over a month, it truly is a great home espresso machine. The flow control paddle is where this machine shines, and really allows you to customize and fine tune your shots. I have mine paired with a Mahlkonig grinder, and am making excellent espresso drinks at home (and don’t miss a coffee house at all)!

The only irritation I have with this machine is the stainless steel finish. I’m somewhat a “neat freak”, so I clean the machine after every use - water spots, coffee, etc. I’ve noticed some light surface scratching so far - even with the supplied and other soft microfiber cloths. I imagine this is unavoidable given the finish, but definitely something to consider.

Otherwise, a beautiful machine that gets people talking when they see it in your home!

The machine works great but

The machine works great but took some time to understand. At first, I was too anxious to try it out and did not wait long enough for it to reach operating temperature. I especially liked the basic review of making expresso, hosted by "Miss Tennessee. " Very well done. I am still working on getting the grind right with my Barraza Esp grinder. But, I think the resulting cappucinos are better that what I was able to do with my previous Alex Duetto which I purchased from you about 10 years ago.

The machine is excellent! Crafted beautifully and performs the same way. Had a Rancillio before and this a huge upgrade. But of a learning curve but not too bad.

dont have it yet but. . .

wow. I really love this, I have grown up with being a barista it was my first job and my current as a collage student i hope to one day open up my own place using brands like this. My friend has one and I love it its easy to use and the flow of the steam is strong and it does not burn the beans. if your thinking about getting this I 100% would. once i can afford something nice like this I plan to show everyone and want to use these in my future coffee shop

Love the Machine! I have

Love the Machine! I have enjoyed it for over a year now and it has been a daily companion in the morning, making my craft a pleasure every time. It’s like a little science experimentation kit with the added benefit of getting something yummy out of it (most of the time).

Fantastic Machine - With A Few Issues

I own a coffee shop and am pretty familiar with top-endy espresso machines. The Bianca simply makes amazing coffee, day after day. My shop has a LaMarz 3 group, which is amazing, but the Bianca somehow pulls tastier shots. The warm-up time, at its best, is super-fast; like 6 minutes from cold/off. I always use pre-infusion, starting the shots with the handle at 50%, and this definitely enhances the smoothness and flavor profile. I traded a Profitec V700 for this, and have absolutely no regrets; I'd buy the Bianca again every time.
But there are a few things that are not to like.
1. The 60-minute sleep timer stopped working for some reason. I have to use the 30-minute timer, which is a pretty short window for the "breakfast warmup" in the mornings. Some kind of software glitch, probably.
2. About a third of the time, the steam boiler doesn't start warming up for about 15 minutes after the brew boiler is hot. Not sure why, but I'm scheduling a service appointment to check it out. It's probably going to be hard to diagnose since the problem is intermittent. This started right after the machine was delivered.
3. The steam boiler has started losing pressure recently. Could be some scale buildup, but there isn't a real descale process defined, other than "don't let the scale build up in the first place", which isn't super helpful. Will address that with tech support as well.
Other than these items, which are probably relatively easy fixes, and don't prevent delicious coffee, I REALLY love this machine.

Anything below 5 stars for

Anything below 5 stars for this wonderful machine is nonsensical. It is absolutely everything as advertised. Great for power users and also very forgiving for beginners. The flow control paddle has been covered by youtubers ad nauseum, but worth highlighting the very clever practical features like the water level warning, cool touch wands, flexible water tank placement, etc
