Need to Know

The Profitec JUMP is a heat exchanger espresso machine that delivers cafe-quality performance without the cafe-sized footprint. Ideal For

The Profitec JUMP is built for intermediate home baristas ready to take espresso seriously. If you're upgrading from a single-boiler machine or stepping up from a consumer-grade setup, this is a meaningful leap in capability. It's also an excellent choice for compact kitchens where counter space is at a premium, but performance can't be compromised. Anyone who makes multiple milk drinks back-to-back, makes morning lattes for the household, and entertains on weekends will appreciate the heat exchanger's ability to steam and brew without waiting. If you're curious about pre-infusion, temperature profiling, and recipe development, the JUMP gives you the control to explore without overwhelming you with complexity.

Absolutely love it!

I upgraded from a Breville to my first nice machine to feed a latte addiction. It's the perfect size, has gorgeous construction and details, and has been a joy to use. It took about 5-6 shots for me to get my grind+beans dialed in - first couple shots were horrid, but very quickly I was pulling velvety shots that tasted like smooth dark chocolate - the same beans went from "fine" with my old machine, to better than I can get at the average coffee shop. The steamer works really well, and it has also become a great way to heat water for tea. It arrived quickly, in great packaging, no damage.

While I have to toy

While I have to toy around with this machine more than my previous (Lucca programmed shot) machine, and that only when a new bag of (different) coffee requires different grind, it makes a MUCH better cup of coffee. And it really isn’t a lot of fussing. I love that I can steam my milk at the same time. I also love that it shuts off after 90 minutes on the days that I can’t decide if I want a third cup. (Its hard to turn down a third cup, its that good!).

I am very pleased with the JUMP

Although I was entranced by double boiler machines I decided to go with the JUMP. The transition from boiler temp ideal for medium roast to the temp most suited to steam production is less than a minute. In return is a savings of $500, a smaller counter top footprint and a machine that makes a good a shot as the Profitec 600 I auditioned.

The JUMP is attractive with its brushed steel and walnut accented controls and portafilter handles.

I am very pleased with the machine and with CLIVE coffee's support.

As a new home barista

As a new home barista and longtime seeker of a quality home brewed espresso and latte, I have finally found my solution! With incredible support from Clive - they really are wonderful - I am confidently brewing and enjoying delicious espresso and lattes (for myself and my family) at home. The Jump itself has everything I need to make quality drinks and is easy and intuitive and looks fabulous! Could not be happier with my decision to buy the Jump from Clive!!!

Good but needs some improvements

I love a lot about the Jump but there are a few things I don’t like:

- the steam wand isn’t no burn. It gets extremely hot!
- the drip tray is hard and wonky to get out. Water can spill or even when it isn’t that full when trying to remove.

It makes great espresso, looks beautiful, has a shot timer and digital display, streams milk beautifully. Mine arrived with a damaged cup warmer so I’m actually sending it back but it’s a great compact machine that just needs a few improvements IMO.
