  • Larger drip tray design that increases the capacity by 250ml, made of BPA-free dishwasher-safe plastic, and has a precision discharge cutout for the steam wand.
  • Easy & mess-free water disposal: Two corner cutouts make it easy to dispose of any leftover water without making a mess.

Need to Know

The Profitec GO is a single-boiler espresso machine built for simplicity, speed, and straight shots. With a built-in PID for precise temperature control, a shot timer, and a saturated group head, it delivers the consistency of a much more expensive machine in a compact, reservoir-fed package. Heat-up time from a cold start is 5–6 minutes, making it ideal for time-crunched mornings. At $1,199, it's one of the most feature-rich entry points into real home espresso.

Key Features

  • PID temperature control: Dial in your ideal brew temp and hold it shot after shot, and outfitted with an integrated shot timer
  • Saturated group head: Thermally stable brewing chamber for even extraction
  • Fast heat-up mode: Ready to pull shots in 5–6 minutes
  • 3-liter internal reservoir
  • Vibratory pump
  • Single-boiler design: Optimized for espresso-only drinkers and those who make the occasional small milk drink

Ideal For

The Profitec GO is perfect for beginners and espresso-only drinkers looking for their first serious espresso machine, especially those who prioritize straight espresso over milk drinks. The single-boiler design means you'll need to wait about 30 seconds to steam milk, so this machine shines brightest for espresso purists and anyone who values a fast morning routine.

With its compact footprint and reservoir-only design, it's ideal for small kitchens, apartments, or anyone who doesn't want to commit to plumbing. And because it heats up in under six minutes, it fits seamlessly into a busy morning routine.

Customers praised this single-boiler machine for pulling "outstanding shots with beautiful crema" and being "insanely user friendly" for beginners. The PID temperature control, large reservoir, and solid build quality earned high marks. Some noted inconsistent steaming, limited cup clearance, and 6-8 minute heat-up times as drawbacks.

Very satisfied. After a lot

Very satisfied. After a lot of help from a Clive tech, great service, my Profitec GO is up and running. I use a sette grinder and consider this pairing to be the tops before diminishing returns. Drinks are tasty with budget left to try different beans. I can see trying a different grinder in the future, but definitely keeping the GO long term.

I’m a happy customer, very impressed with this machine. The PID is a game changer for me. Tony is very knowledgeable and helped me out a lot. Clive Coffee ROCKS!!!

We've been enjoying using the machine profusely, and are glad to say it's a daily part of our mornings and afternoons (a morning coffee or latte for one of us, a stay-awake-past-8:30 afternoon espresso machine for the other). The wooden attachments were a splurge, but the entire enterprise is a 20th wedding anniversary present to the two of us. Coffee School media was very appreciated!

Awesome experience

I did plenty of research, and the Profitec GO kept landing at the top of my list, since I rarely use a frother and I loved the idea of the pressure adjustment on the top of the machine so I could fine-tune single shots. Bonus: Clive was very well rated by buyers. After a couple weeks of use, I’m VERY satisfied with this machine, including that I got the “old model” and not the newer upgrade. (P. S. Even love the blue that matches our backsplash and wall in the old school we live in. )

We recently purchased the Profitec GO paired with the Eureka Specialita grinder, and we couldn’t be happier with the setup. This is our first espresso machine, and after getting everything dialed in, it has been incredibly easy to operate and enjoy on a daily basis.

The Profitec GO pulls outstanding shots with beautiful crema, and excellent flavor. Paired with the Specialita grinder, the whole setup feels premium. Once you understand the basics and get the grind dialed in, making great espresso becomes an enjoyable process.

For anyone considering this machine and grinder combo, we definitely feel it is worth the money. It has exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

I’m really enjoying my morning cappuccino thanks to my powerful but compact Profitec Go. It didn’t take too long to dial things in. I look forward to tweaking things when I try different beans. Thank you for the speedy delivery.

Consistent! Love the heavy weight

Consistent! Love the heavy weight and sincere build quality. Too many examples to count but - simplicity and size and access of water tank and drip tray. Solid buttons. Easy cleaning which inspires frequent cleaning which inspires frequent use. Compact footprint. My shots pull predictably every time and making small tweaks is so easy when needed. Things happen logically and can be addressed logically.

As a first-time espresso machine

As a first-time espresso machine owner, I’m extremely satisfied. It took a few days to get the hang of it, but over the past few weeks I’ve really enjoyed experimenting and dialing in the settings to match my taste. The controls are intuitive, and I’ve developed a good sense of where I can work with the machine, especially with temperature control. It strikes a great balance between ease of use and the ability to customize, and I can see myself enjoying both for years to come.

Got it up and running,

Got it up and running, could use a better filtration method and water tank level monitor/sensor. I would likely get a double boiler as an upgrade to this but it was fun to get into a rhythm for a shot and steamed milk bevvy. Fantastic starter machine on our coffee journey.

I was a bit nervous

I was a bit nervous jumping into a machine like this being somewhat of a beginner in the espresso world, but, this machine is insanely user friendly! Use is very straight forward, it has tweakability for when you're ready to advance, and overall the experience is pleasant! The shots are great and very consistent. If you are ok with a single boiler, this is a great machine. I find that switching between espresso to steam is usually under 2 minutes which is perfect for my workflow. I highly recommend this machine!

First time using a single boiler type machine! The heat up time is around 6-8 mintues. I would recommend that you order a bottomless portafilter. It gives you more clearance for your shot glass. Thats only downside with the Profitec GO. There isnt alot room where you set your cup. Hence why i recommend the bottomless portafilter. Overall this is a great machine for the price!

I have one major problem

I have one major problem with Profitec. I have to make my espresso before making my foam. If I do that the espresso only gets cold, and it takes away from the experience of drinking my morning cappuccino. I have found a way to keep the espresso warm, while making my foam. I boil water put it in a small bowl, and put my cup in the bowl, while I am brewing my espresso. After that is done, I dump the water, and add more hot water to the cup with espresso in it. It is two extra steps to enjoying my morning cappuccino. With that said, I do like my Profitec, but with my old Rancillio I could make the espresso, after steaming my milk. That was a much simpler way of doing things.

Love this machine! Great for

Love this machine! Great for me because I never steam milk, so single boiler was a perfect choice. The coffee improvement over my old, low-end machine has been transformative. Friends comment that it looks great, too (I got the yellow).

Amazing machine for the single

Amazing machine for the single cup user who doesn’t need to steam and pull shots at the same time. Easy to use, lots of adjustments and accessories. I’ve had mine for a year, and I pull three or four shots daily. I love that I can adjust temps and change my pressure very easily. Low maintenance and zero problems. Of course, Clive made my purchase easy with my custom options and I will definitely be giving them my business again! If you have a simple workflow and love good quality shots, try the Go!

This is the best!

Heats quite quickly, and can steam milk about 3 minutes after pulling a shot. Loving this mighty machine.

Great machine. The only thing

Great machine. The only thing is that the two holes steam tip is hard to make a good silky milk foam.

Excellent machine

My first espresso machine, and I'm loving it. Solidly made, great looking, makes excellent drinks. The water tank cover is a bit buzzy when the pump is running and of course it's a single boiler, so you can't crank out milk drinks at high speed. But overall it's a pleasure to use and ticks all the important boxes for me.

Very beginner friendly. Super quick

Very beginner friendly. Super quick to cut over from brew to steam (about 90 seconds with a purge). Looks great too! The only con is the distance between the group head and the drip tray is short, but no issue with a small scale and bottomless portafilter. I’m not sure how the distance compares to other machines in this size and price range.

Easy to set up, works

Easy to set up, works beautifully. The reservoir is so large I sometimes forget about it. Profitec makes their products to last and the go being their cheapest machine doesn't change that it's wonderfully well built and very consistent my only gripe is a lack of pre infusion but that's not something I was requiring when shopping around. The PID works as advertised and was a hard requirement for me to have. The drip tray is easy to remove and clean without mess. Didn't come with a scale but that's okay for me as I have one.
