The size is just about right for a pour over setup. I use a Fellow stag xl and it fits nicely. The scale is sensitive to small increments and without lag. The screen is easy to read. The top is one smooth surface so it is easy to clean and has less of a chance of getting water into the scale. My favorite feature is the auto start on the timer in pour over mode. The battery lasts a long time between charging. USB C cord so hopefully future proof at least for a while.
We have 2 Acaia Pearl Scales, one in each home where we have an espresso machine. These are the perfect companion to the Acaia Lunar Scale for precise pulls.
It is massive, doesn't fit under my Breville and is so tall it won't fit my normal espresso cups

My first scale for coffee brewing. I use it for pour-over and drip coffee. Easy to set up and works well.
This Pearl is the right size if you grind directly into your portafilter. It is wide enough to tara out the filter before the grind and then weight with grounds after to confirm the correct dose. The Luna is the correct size to weight the coffee during extraction with nice smart phone app to graph the flow rates and times. I ended up with both scales to make my work flow easy.
Has everything I need. Took a couple of days to figure out functions, but now it’s second nature. The scale is larger than I thought it would be.
Working great. The flow indicator is a nice touch. But what I really enjoy is that even when the scale is in timer mode I can see the .00 of a gram, I also can switch to oz. Without having to go to weight only mode. Nice upgrade from previous version
It is bulky and interface isn't very intuitive (power button to start timer?). It also isn't very accurate. If I am weighing beans in a small cup and lift the cup off the scale and put it back down without changing the amount of beans in it, the reading often changes by many grams. I really regret purchasing this.

I was a skeptic of this scale since I already had a basic $40 digital kitchen scale. Two things convinced me to try it; inconsistent shots and my local coffee shop (Farmers Union) uses it for their shots. I ordered from Clive Coffee and couldn't be happier. It really does make a difference if your portafilter is filled with 18.0 or 18.9 grams and a basic kitchen scale just won't work since most don't display tenths of a gram.

Best scaler for Filter brewing
While this scale is very accurate and works great, it is too big to fit on my drip tray with the shot glass and the portafilter. This means that all the other features of this scale I can’t use which means it’s basically a very expensive gram scale. What a shame. The lunar is too expensive for me.
The Acaia Pearl scale is so responsive and accurate (to the tenth of a gram!), that it has elevated the precision of my pour-over game in the morning. The built-in scale removed the need for extra hardware. One added bonus is that this scale is so accurate that it's ideal for baking and other things that require accuracy and repeatable results. Be sure to periodically clean the charging port with compressed air, the dust that settles in there over time can cause the charger to not sit in the port snuggly. Compressed air did the job!
