Adjust your expectations

I took the class with my two daughters - a gift from them. Yes, we had a nice time and yes, the instructor was very nice and informative and yes, all the supplies were top notch. She said right away that we should not expect to make beautiful latte art creations after just one class. At the end of the class neither we nor the other person enrolled could execute anything more than a blob and so our outcome was disappointing and my home efforts have not yet yielded any improvement! I do feel like I got a much better grasp of how the milk should be steamed to enable latte art, but alas, no latte art so far!

Great Class!

Aside from learning the techniques to create different latte art, the best part for me was really nailing down good milk steaming. Sean was a great instructor- very knowledgeable, super encouraging and genuinely invested in helping us learn. I would high recommend this class. I do wish it were longer though—once things started to click the hour was up.

Excellent latte art class!

We enjoyed our 1 hour of latte art training during our trip to Portland, getting to make as many latte's as we could in 1 hours. We went through the basics of pouring and learned about the different designs (hear, rosetta, tulip).

Very helpful class

Victoria was very helpful in providing a tutorial on the mechanics of pouring latte art. She was very patient and had a good sense of humor given my latte art is pretty lame.
