This three-in-one espresso cleaning tool excels at cleaning group heads and screens with "strong brush bristles" and a "clever design." Customers praised its high quality and perfect fit for E61 machines. The integrated spoon measures cleaning powder, while the pin clears steam wands. Some noted the pin can bend and extra tools see limited use, but overall it "does a great job."

  • Very high quality - definitely recommend!
  • Clever design; strong brush bristles
  • Best ten bucks you'll ever spend on your espresso machine

Great, the design is neat

Great, the design is neat it fits my steam wand, the tool is good quality plastic, however the pin can get bent a little, but you can bend it back in at least in mine. But I am satisfied with it the bristles are high quality better than the brush that came in my ECM. It is a good tool for cleaning the steam wand and group head. Just remember it is still good to take out the group head filter if you can and clean it one or two times a month.

Clever design; strong brush bristles and small poker at the end. Haven't used the spoon side but the handle makes everything easy to reach.

Handy brush

This brush does a great job cleaning the mesh beneath the group head on my ECM machine. Much better than using a cloth or paper towel. As for the other two tools that are built into this item, I don’t see much benefit. The spike is a bit big for piercing holes on my steam wand. And the little spoon is hardly necessary for measuring cleaning powder.

Best ten bucks you'll ever spend on your espresso machine

I've had one of these Pallo three-in-one tools for a decade or more and use it after every shot I pull to clear any stray grounds from the screen and grouphead before the next dose and pull. I have replaced mine just once -- only because it disappeared in the bottomless kitchen 'junk drawer.' The stiff nylon brush is an easy, perfect fit in the channel around the screen in an E61 - contrary to the one star review here. And in thousands of uses, I've not once, not ever had the brush 'come off the shaft.' It screws in (tightly) for a reason - you can usually buy a three pack of replacement nylon brushes for about a ten spot, unscrew the one that has become a bit tattered and screw in a new one -- although at ten bucks for the entire tool new, you could also just get a fresh one and recycle the old.

The spoon is useful for measuring out your cafiza or similar cleaner for backflushing, although after a few tries you'll likely just do that by eye anyway. The little poker on the back of the brush gets little use here -- if you let your steam wand get clogged with milk and need to use it more often than very, very rarely, shame on you! (But I have used it in a pinch as a 'pusher' to reset the day, date and other 'complications' on mechanical watches).

Blow the ten spot and get one of these puppies if you don't have one already.

Fantastic brush.

I didn't think I could be so happy with a brush designed for such a specific purpose, but this is a well-designed tool for its task. Bristles are firm and angled perfectly‘_for scrubbing the dispersion screen. The detergent scoop on the opposite end is also appreciated. In all, a very simple, thoughtful design for a very simple tool.
