Tight solid seal

This gasket and screen cost extra. I think the silicone gasket will show its value over the long haul in its durability. But for now, it kind of sucks because it's too thick and I can no longer insert the portafilter with the normal ease - now I am wrenching on the stupid thing to compact the overly thick gasket just to seat the portafilter.

I have a Lucca X58, just over a year old. Thought I would replace the shower screen and gasket, and ordered this set.
Even with the Molykote lube, it was a challenge to install. After pushing the gasket up as well as I could with fingers and a chopstick, the portafilter would not mount. After removing and reinserting several times, and pushing as hard as I could with a rounded metal tool all around the gasket, I got the gasket far enough in so that the portafilter would just engage. After pulling it as tight as I could, I felt it was seated as well as it could be.
Prior to the replacement, the portafilter handle was around 5:00 or 4:50. After replacement, the tightest I can get it is 7:00 or perhaps 7:10. A bit concerned whether there is enough engagement of the portafilter flanges into the group head, but there are no leaks.
Espresso has been somewhat improved after the replacement, so the screen is an improvement, but I think next time I will get an 8mm gasket instead of 8. 5mm, both for easier installation and easier locking of the portafilter.

If you have the Quick Mill Lucca M58 that Clive sells, the silicone gasket will not work. It's a super tight fit and if you are able to get it in, it will leak and sometimes cause the portafilter to dislodge while pulling a shot. Super disappointing as it's sold as a "premium" option, but the OEM rubber gasket is much better.

Great shower screen with significantly better water distribution than the stock one. Easy installation as well.

A pretty simple and very necessary yearly task. We take pretty decent care of our Profitech 600, using proper and regular maintenance. It’s pretty amazing the gunk left on the screen. PS: The resultant coffee is actually noticeably sweeter and tastier. So just do it!

I have a flow control and I didn’t realize the old group head screen may have been the reason why the pressure never really got to 9bars on the gage. Once I decided to remove it and replaced it with this one the difference was amazing!

It's a very tight fit on the initial install. I put the gasket in hot water, and the Bianca v2 [E61] was cold. I slid it on using the back of a chop stick.

Long overdue. Very happy.

It’s not fitting well enough to brew for some reason

The screen is amazing, I was honestly skeptical that a performance screen would make a difference in my extraction, but, it definitely helped a ton.

The Premium E61 Group Head Maint Kit works. Stopped all leaks from the group set and needs far less tightening on the flange.

The Maintenance Kit makes a very convenient and complete way to both maintain and update the E61 group head. The blue, slightly thicker gasket was a nice improvement and the shower screen was a perfect fit. The molylube made installing the new gasket very easy.

Combination does not allow the portafilter to attach on my ECM synchro machine.

The profitec pro 500 shower screen slips on the group head and seats properly all the way to the top. The E&B shower screen does not. It is too tight and will not fit on all the way. Similarly the 8.5mm gasket is too thick. It needs to be thinner like the original.

Good upgrade!

I was not sure what to expect really from a new screen that’s replacing the one from the factory, but I must say that I’m really impressed! This replaced the Lilet Bianca screen for reference. What makes this unique is that the water dispersement is very even and actually allowed for more water flow, which meant that I had to change some of my brew and timing settings, so keep that I mind if you acquire one of these.
