Customers appreciate this tamp station's elegant aesthetics and organization capabilities, with many praising its "beautiful craftsmanship" and ability to keep coffee stations tidy. However, several shoppers note the knock box capacity is too small, requiring frequent emptying, and the thin metal construction causes wobbling, rattling, and instability during use.

  • The aesthetics are fantastic and any residual grounds get caught in the bowl.
  • The quality is great. It makes tamping so much easier and precise now.
  • A multifunctional gear that saves the space and money for other tools.

I really like this tamp

I really like this tamp station. The aesthetics are fantastic and it makes a nice item to put on my espresso station at home. Also, any time I prepped a puck before, inevitably there would be some grounds spillage and a bit of a mess. Since getting this station, that has gone away. You can prep the puck in the 1/2 stand, and any residual grounds get caught in the bowl. Super easy to clean too. Very happy with the item. Shipping from Clive was quick to boot!

Unusable as a knock box

A nice piece of wood that will match other St. Anthony accessories and keep your work area organized, but it is unusable as a knock box. The metal insert moves around (needs to to be able to empty) but its small size and plastic disk do not allow for a good whack to knock a puck out. And the force of trying to sprays parts of old pucks onto your work area. Ordered an ECM knock box. Will use this for storage,

Love it but the puck

Love it but the puck bowl is a little to small and the metal to thin.

Looks great, just could be sturdier and hold more pucks. We are intense morning espresso lovers and we quickly have to empty the puck tray. But otherwise, it is an elegant addition to our espresso countertop landscape and we're happy we splurged to get it.

Not worth $90

Poorly made. The thin metal that’s used for the tamping station and puck discard buckles every time you tamp. It rattles and clangs when you knock the puck into it. It also only holds two pucks. Would definitely not recommend. I never write reviews, but after using this for a few months I actually can’t believe how bad it is. I’m surprised it still sold on the website honestly.

It’s a nice piece of

It’s a nice piece of kit, the issue I have is that the basin with the tamping station is very finest and “pops” every time you tamp. This really cheapens the whole experience and makes for an item that is not work the price paid.

Looks great, okay in function

The wood quality and finish is great but the knock box / tamp stand leave more to be desired. The bin metal is too thin and as a result, the tamp stand wobbles when you put any pressure on it. The bin is also slightly too small for the hole in the wood box, letting it spin and slide around. Issues resolved with some tape wrapped around the bin to take up the slack and a “hockey puck” underneath to provide more support.

The Bloc Tamp does not

The Bloc Tamp does not have enough space for multiple pucks and makes a huge mess. I'm planning to return this item.

It looks great. I use

It looks great. I use it mostly as a place to store tamper and as a knock box. Knock box is really small, and has to be emptied offten. Tried to use it as a tamp station, and decided that simple silicon pad works much better.

Looks good but falls short on function

Looks great but not as sturdy as I hoped. The tamp stand is a bit wobbly and placed in such a way that tamping and knocking out pucks is a bit clumsy. It’s also somewhat noisy when knocking out pucks. I would have also made the hole for the distribution tool deeper as the tool doesn’t sit flat and throws off the whole look. Looks great though! I just couldn’t bring myself to rate 5 stars.

Great System

Getting really good extractions using this system. It’s well made and the video that Clive made explains everything you need to do to calibrate the tools.

Almost perfect

I like the aesthetic of the tamping station. It looks well built but it does have a raw wood kind of finish to it which I don't mind at all. It would be nice to have a few different wood options as none of the options matched my other wood accessories. My main gripe about this is the knockbox is pretty loud when I hit my puck out. Also when trying to put a tamping force while using the rubber stand, there is a little bit of wiggle so it's not as stable as using the rubber mat on my counter top like I was before. I think if there was a felt piece or rubber gasket around the metal bowl it wouldn't rattle or move as much. I will probably try to fashion my own solution to deaden the sound a bit.
