Weber Workshops Really Nice Tamper

I can't say whether this actually makes better expresso, but it has lived up to its namesake and is really nice. It has been a solid addition to our home espresso station. I can't speak to value for money because I haven't owned many tampers. As far as this one goes the build quality feels excellent and it looks great.

Consistency is a blessing and this tamper is a pleasure to use.

I have many tampers, most are high end and several have force technology. This one is simply perfection and clicks every box. Looks, hand feel, tight fit, consistent pressure, and a perfectly level tamp every single time. It easily enables using palm force which eliminates wrist stress. Worth every penny.

I like how easily it makes perfect tamps. Plus it looks very cool.

Excellent tamper. High build quality and very consistent pressure. I use the 12 KG spring and it's awesome so far. Takes another variable out of the equation.

Exactly as the name implies - it’s simply a really nice tamper. I really enjoy using it and am happy with my purchase.

This was a splurge, but I'm glad I got it. The way it covers the rim of the portafilter is helpful but the best feature is the consistent and appropriate pressure that the spring-loaded tamper provides. No guesswork, no dependency on how focused I am.

This thing’s great. It’s not the cheapest thing, this isn’t a bang for the buck purchase but it feels nice to use and it fits great in my Pullman basket, never any grinds on the side after tamping and it doesn’t suction the pick up either. Joy to use, as much as a tamper can be anyways

If your liking to eliminate another variable in your espresso workflow. This does that, works like a champ. Spendy, but perfect.

I'm really loving this Really Nice Tamper. It's sturdy and solid, I like that it comes with a fitted holder to store when not in use. No complaints here. I would buy it again.

I like it

I bought this tamper because it would leave a level puck in the portafilter. It does that really well. The quality of the mechanism and the build is clearly superior. However, since the flange that levels the puck by resting level on the rim of the portafilter limits the sense of contact with the grounds, I am not sure by feel how much pressure was being applied to the coffee. So it took faith! Then I started to use a puck screen and the feedback was more positive. This is probably a personal quirk. In the end, I am getting the level puck I was after and my shots from the Profitec Jump have been great.

Don't let the name turn you off; it's 100% correct. This tamper is really nice—exceptional, in fact. In a world where most tampers look and function the same, the RNT truly stands out. The best part is that the tamper fits the portafilter's circumference to eliminate any chance of tamping error.
