The result is a delicious cup which fans of roast-driven flavors are sure to enjoy; Decaf French has the bitterness one expects from a darker roast profile, but not at the expense of drinkability.

A note on how this coffee is decaffeinated from our sourcing partner Royal Coffee, based in Oakland, CA: "SWP Decaf coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process (SWP). In this method the green beans are pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to Green Coffee Extract (GCE), a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor."
