Eureka Atom 75 Espresso Grinder

We absolutely love our Eureka Atom 75 grinder. We have owned several grinders in the past, and this is a very powerful and fast grinder. It took us a bit of time to dial in the grinder and to season the big 75mm burrs. Once dialed in and seasoned, it is producing amazing shots with flavors extracted from the usual beans we buy that we previously have not been able to taste with other grinders. It pairs perfectly with our La Marzocco Linea Mini that we also bought from Clive Coffee. We cannot praise enough the very helpful, knowledgeable and personable staff at Clive Coffee!!!

Game changer! I moved from a Baratza lower end grinder which I thought I had dial in. I watched the great Clive video on how to set up grind and wow…what a difference. It really brought out the flavors that were missing. Now all it takes it a quick nudge of the trigger and in 3.8 seconds I have the perfect amount and grind in my porta filter. I love the “spotlight” which makes evening the distribution easy. I have a handful of shops that have made great, not good, shots, and this grinder allowed me to easily match them with my LMLM!

First grinder and espresso machine. Both are great but I have nothing to compare them to. I like how easy it is to use. However beans change from the time I open a new bag until they’re used up after a week requiring me to make small adjustments to the automatic dosing and grind settings. I don’t think that has anything to do with the grinder though. Just a noob here trying to enjoy a homemade cappuccino.

A little bit of retention and dialing in took longer than I expected, but other than that, an excellent grinder. A huge improvement over the Specialità this grinder replaced.

I love this grinder. It’s very easy to adjust grind time. I like to be very specific so wish the adjustment values had more lines. The output is pretty consistent. If I don’t hit the mark by less weight I just hit the manual button and bump the sensor. Since I have regular espresso shots in the morning and like decaf espresso shots at night after using it in the morning to be sure I liked it I bought one for decaf at night.

They say you have to start good espresso with a quality grinder and the Eureka Atom 75 is certainly that. Very solid and well built and you notice it immediately. The step-less grind adjustment makes dial in a breeze. The 75mm bur grinds your shot in seconds. The light lets see the grounds as they fill the filter and the funnel accessory works well and worth getting too.

I have had the grinder for a couple of months now. Before that I owned a burr grinder I bought from Starbucks, followed by a Rancilio Rocky, followed by two Baratza Varios followed by a Baratza Sette. Compared to all of those the Atom 75 is way better. It powers through whatever you put in the hopper. I recommend not using stale coffee in it. It is so powerful that the coffee comes out way to fast and makes a mess. The machine is sturdy and easy to use and adjust. The on off switch isn’t quite seated correctly. I can turn it off, but the slightest touch turns it back on. Its not enough to make me dislike the machine though. I can now boldly experiment with making espresso from different coffees and not worry if the grinder can handle it.

I was concerned about spending so much money on a grinder since I had a decent one. I changed my mind the very first day I owned my Eureka Atom 75. It was quick and easy to dial in with my favorite roast. I can’t believe that I waited so long to make this purchase. I absolutely love this grinder. It has really simplified my morning routine.

I was so tired of my dose grinder making a mess. We replaced it with the Eureka Atom 75 and I am so happy! This beauty is simple, easy to use and doses the perfect amount of grounds every time. It is very well made and has a large hopper. Most importantly is is very clean and efficient. No more wasted grounds thrown on the counter! I feel like a professional using this at home. You will not find a better grinder in this price range that will actually fit in your home kitchen!

The Eureka Atom 75 with titanium burrs is a beast. I’ve never had such grind consistency, adjustability, and speed. It used to take me 9-10 seconds to grind 18g on my old grinder. The 75 will do it in just 2.7 seconds. It’s virtually silent and has absolutely no clumping, which allows me to skip WDT entirely. Truly a great investment.

Love this grinder! I wonder why I waited so long. I had to get used to how fast it is...20 g of espresso in about 4-5 seconds! And it is indeed extremely quiet for a grinder. I no longer wake up the house! To me this grinder seems to have it all...quiet, fast, single dose, timed dosing, consistent, and easy grinder adjustments. Awesome!

I had originally considered the Atom 75 or a Mahlkonig grinder to replace my Mazzer mini E grinder. I chose the Eureka as it is quieter and have been very pleased. It is consistent and the quality of my espresso has improved significantly. It is very fast and I am pleased with the purchase.

Great grinder! It is fast and quiet!

Coming from a Baratza Sette. The Atom is SO much quieter, what a nice QOL improvement. Shots seem to be coming through better also. I also paid for Clive to dial in the grinder which was worth the $50. Red is straight up sexy next to my Rocket Appartamento. Expensive, but seemingly worth the upgrade.

This grinder has taken my espresso up a notch. Not only is it speedy (3.5sec to grind 17g of coffee) it is consistent. Along with my Synchronika this was a wonderful investment.

This is more a 9/10 rather than 4/5. I can't give 5 stars only because that equals perfection and I haven't tried every grinder out there. However this grinder completely changed my espresso experience and I love it! I'm coming from a Baratza Vario and before that Encore and Rancilio Rocky and this has been a game changer. Its super fast, quiet and consistent with precise grind adjustment. Its perfect for single dosing which is perfect if you're only pulling 1-2 shots a day as I am. The footprint is small which is great if you don't have a lot of counter space. The only issue, and its very minor, is the hopper can get easily get dislodged when moving the grinder say if you're cleaning your counter. That being said I don't regret this purchase one bit and it is likely my final grinder upgrade.

Fantastic grinder! Love everything about it!

Paul told us this would be a grinder we would be happy with, and was he right. This was a huge upgrade from our old grinder and has made dialing in perfect espresso seamless. It has so little retention that we have found ourselves primarily single dosing, even though we have the larger hopper. All in all, a huge recommend.

Fast, quiet, easy to dial in. Consistent dosing. No static, good dispersion. Great shots.

If you are looking for speed and great grinder here you go.

A delight to use. The burrs settled in very, very quickly, and the quality of the grind is very high and super easy to adjust (NB - we are an espresso-only house, so we don't make any major changes to the grind settings). Makes delicious, creamy espresso. Retention is low, and the grinder is very "neat" - the grounds fall cleanly into the portafilter (and not onto the counter). The grinder is really quiet, and the noise that it does make is a pleasant whirr. Seems to be built like a tank. My only criticism is that the timed dosing has a margin of error of a gram or so. So I still have to weigh the portafilter after each dose and readjust the quantity a bit. As an alternative, one could easily do single dosing with this grinder (given the low retention), but I'm still enamored with the idea of timed dosing, even if the execution isn't perfect.

This is my second grinder from Clive Coffee, and I’m very glad that I upgraded. The speed of the grinding is outstanding and I cannot believe how quiet it is. I’ve used it for single dosing, but usually keep a fair number of beans in the hopper and after a morning “clearing shot” it gives me great grind all day. Recommended.
