It's commercially certified but priced for serious home use — which means you get café-grade consistency, shot after shot, without the café-grade noise or heat buildup. Touch a button, walk away, and the grinder stops automatically at your target dose. No portafilter tricks, no scale on the drip tray, no wasted coffee.

Key Features

  • Grind-by-weight precision: Integrated scale doses directly into the portafilter with ±0.2g accuracy
  • 65mm flat stainless steel burrs: Fast, consistent particle distribution ideal for espresso and filter
  • Direct drive motor: Runs quieter and cooler than belt-drive systems, reducing clumping and static
  • Stepless micrometric adjustment: Infinite grind settings for total control over extraction
  • Programmable timer and weight modes: Save multiple profiles for different coffees or brew methods
  • Low retention design: Minimal coffee left in the grind path between shots

Ideal For

This grinder is built for the intermediate home barista who's tired of wasting coffee and wants café-level consistency without café-level complexity. It's also an excellent choice for coffee carts, or shared office spaces — where grind speed, accuracy, and ease of use matter more than high-volume throughput. If you're upgrading from a hand grinder or an entry-level electric and you want true grind-by-weight functionality, this is the machine. If you're a café owner looking for a secondary grinder that can handle decaf, single-origin specials, or pour-over without touching your main workflow, this fits perfectly.

    Very pleasing build quality; grinds

Very pleasing build quality; grinds by weight as promised, just rest the portafilter in the holder and wait few seconds for the grind to start. Noise level is comparable to Eureka Silenzio and Niche Zero. The short hopper doesn’t flow well, beans get snagged up in the odd structure in the middle and if you are not watching it will run out of beans even with a full hopper above. Nice machine, we like it.

    We bought the Eureka as

We bought the Eureka as an upgrade to our eight year-old Baratza Sette 270 Wi. After the control board failed for the second time in the Sette, we decided to replace the it (Baratza did send replacement control boards for free). The Eureka is a much heavier build and is super quiet (with quality comes cost). The grind quality is nice and adjustments are precise. The control panel has nice features, and the light over the porta filter is a nice touch too! We are quite satisfied.

    It is the better GBW

It is the better GBW option. For the price, I wish the features were more intuitive. But its far better than the Minion Libra GBW. It just goes. I think the Libra was better at calibrating and measuring. I upgraded to the Titaium burrs - its a must.

    After reading and watching many

After reading and watching many reviews of espresso grinders I decided that an accurate weight-based grinder would save me steps (ie. separately weighing the grind each time to dial-in a different roast, and occasionally wanting to verify that the dose is still consistent) and provide continual reassurance that I am getting a consistent does of ground beans. My reviews also pointed to a flat grinder instead of the conical burr grinder I had been using. While I don't think my palette can discern between the two, I multitude of reviews I have seen form a concensus that flat grinders produce a better tasting shot of espresso. I also wanted a fluffy grind with no clumping, and minimal retention. As a added bonus, a quieter grinder would be icing on the cake. So that is a lot to ask of an espresso grinder. After further comparison reviews, I decided on the Eureka Atom W 65 Espresso Grinder. This was a fairly steep investment for me - I originally was hoping to spend half of the cost of this machine, but this was the ONLY espresso grinder that met 100% of my criteria. So I bought it :-). The result? I could not be happier with my decision! This is an AWESOME grinder. It is fast, much quieter than other grinders, has a very accurate weighing system, and produces an outstanding fluffy grind with no clumping whatsoever (at least with the beans I have been using). My one minor complaint is that the actual weight of a grind only shows for about a second or two. I have to be paying attention to see the actual weight of the grind, which tends to be +/- 0. 2 grams from what I programmed, and is typically +/- 0. 1 grams of target. I am very happy with my Eureka Atom W 65 Espresso Grinder and I recommed it.

Perfect grinder to complement my ECM Synchronika!

I originally purchased the Atom 75 but I really wanted to be able to grind by weight instead of time. I didn’t know about the W series at the time of purchase but once I did, 3 days after receiving my delivery, I immediately called Clive and asked if I could return the Atom 75 and purchase the Atom W65.

Making this decision was only second to my initial decision to go with an Atom for a grinder. The W65 is not only a handsome grinder (purchased in chrome) with dial by weight and time capabilities, it is a precision grinder that consistently puts out near perfectly ground coffee which really doesn’t need a WDT. My espresso shots are beautiful and most importantly, I can taste the notes and flavors I intend to pull from them using my flow control.

I can’t say enough good things about my Eureka Atom W65. I am very satisfied with my choice and very satisfied with the results ir produces in my daily espresso work flow!
