I bought this as an add-on for the Filtro Silent. It fits perfectly and helps control the chaff and dust that does flying everywhere when using the included cup. The clear rubber feet are a nice touch.
The downside is that the shape is a bit awkward for pouring the grounds out and it is quite static charged and likes to hold onto grounds and chaff.
Overall, its a better option than the dosing cup that is too small and sits too far away to catch everything.

To small to get a

To small to get a standard scoop in it so you have to pour from it. It has lots of static so the coffee flies everywhere. Not a lot but a little ground coffee appears to be a lot. You need to have a small vac or wisp broom handy for cleanup. It also costs $50 extra. It looks great though just as the grinder does

Great for catching errant grounds

Does the job very well - but I'd rather have avoided the need for the bin hadthe Specialita filled my 53mm portafilter basket without spilling. In addition, some grounds inevitably stick to the plastic due to static.

Catches well

We are currently using our grinder for pour-over and cold brew coffee, so we are grinding about 3/4c of beans at once. This catch box has significantly reduced the amount of flying grounds. The only drawback is that there still is a decent amount of grounds that stays stuck to the side of the box. Not sure there is a way to improve this.
