Good enough. Worthy upgrade. Not perfect for $$

Definitely an upgrade over the original in terms of how hot it gets. I don't know if I'd go as far as to call it "Cool" touch. Even just after purging it's warm. After steaming a couple drinks, it was just shy of uncomfortably warm. Fine for me. . . the wand still cleans a lot easier since the milk doesn't burnish onto the wand. My Lelit's cool touch wand is definitely cooler than this one. I imagine this wouldn't cost as much with any competition. The spring it comes with was also noticeably longer than the OEM. Make install basically impossible. It was 15 minutes of fiddling around with the new one. Took 30 seconds after I decided to use the old one.

Love it! It steams much quicker and retains more water. However, it is still very warm to touch. It’s not cold.
