The bar on this knock box runs across the middle of the circle. So you have to knock your grounds onto the bar (to at least some extent); there's no way to knock the grounds into the box without getting at least some on the bar. That's very annoying. I'm ditching this one for a different one where I don't have to make a mess every time I knock grounds.
My Lucca A53 Mini and Ceado grinder occupy a good deal of space on my counter and the small Lucca Knock Box was a great find. It's solidly constructed and is a perfect fit for the space that's available.

Attractive and stable, easy to clean. If I had designed this, I would have put the cross bar further back, so when striking the compressed grounds it would not be impeded by the bar.

Trust the process! I looked at the box and thought no way is this going to work - I'll have grinds all over. Well - it worked great; it looks better than an old plastic bin and I no longer have a mess on my coffee station!
