Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT Coffee Maker

I was absolutely blown away with the cup of coffee we experienced on the first brew. Still in awe many brews later. I own a mobipe Espresso bar and im super picky. I will never use another coffee maker brand

We've used ours almost daily since 2009, and wouldn't even consider buying another brand! Our guests always compliment our coffee.

It's the best. No heating element. Simple to maintain. Makes delicious coffee. This is the price you pay to have it in your home, every day, hopefully for years. Invest in great coffee.

This is my first high end coffee maker and I could not be happier with my purchase! I love the simplicity of the unit. ON and OFF switch. What else do you need? You need to grind your beans right before use RIGHT? Also the large thermo carafe requires you to swap out the cap to keep it hot for hours so who needs a timer? Coffee comes out perfect!

Easy to assemble and makes fantastic coffee. Previously had a Bonavida brewer and this machine puts it to shame. A little pricey, but seems worth it.

There isn't much to say other than, in my opinion, this is the best home brewer available on the market today. The build is excellent. I honestly prefer the stainless steel carafe to a glass lined. The base and body of the machine are steel and use what appear to be excellent toggles. I really like that the button where the carafe goes is what triggers the brew to start. Pair this with a Forte BG and you'll never want anything else.

Fantastic machine for when you need larger batches of coffee. This does not replace my espresso machine as my favorite coffee tool but making espresso for a group can be time consuming. I am really amazed by the flavor you can get out of this drip machine and only do pour overs now when I feel like enjoying the process.

This coffee maker is worth every penny. Use in conjunction with a conical burr grinder and you have an exceptional pot of coffee. Thank you Clive Coffee!

The cost comes from the quality of the components. Hopefully it will lay for years to justify the expense. We have had a bit of an issue with the auto power button sticking. Some silicon spray may have taken care of it. We’ll see.

makes a very good cup of coffee although not worth the cost. It is very economically designed, could be a 100.00 machine with all the plastic components that don’t quite fit without a struggle.

This ting is absolutely terrible. If it doesn’t sit perfectly on the little pedestal, it brews all over the counter. If the grounds don't sit perfectly in the top, it brews all over the counter and floor. After nothing but problems and countless messes, I threw this thing in the dumpster where it belongs today. It looks fancy, but a $40 Mr. Coffee is a much better purchase.

I have been using the Technivorm Moccamaster since 2009 I bought a 2nd one this year for a 2nd home in New York. They are fantastic machines: simple, reliable, perfect coffee every time. FYI: The technology in the newer model has been improved: when you slide the carafe in place, it forces the filter to allow water through. This seems to have solved what occasionally could get clogged. Maybe in another 12 years I'll buy a 3rd one.

After trying and then returning the Ratio Six (not for me), I skeptically purchased the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT. What a revelation for what a drip coffee maker can create! Simply put, it produces a complex, nuanced, smooth, and rich cup that rivals My Synchronika's ability to make perfect Americano. Although it appears complex, the Moccamaster is simple to use, very consistent, and performs as hoped by exactly following the simple instructions. My wife was hesitant to let her Mr Coffee go, but now it's "Mr. Who?" Amazing how it extracts the character from different kinds of beans. And the thermal carafe is the model to choose as it keeps a full batch hot for lazy brunches on the terrace. Excellent machine and even more excellent service and support from Hannah. This was a replacement for my first one that lasted 14 years never considered other than getting a new one

This is the 3rd Technivorm I've had. Bought a new one for our Colorado home and kept the 10 year old one in Michigan. The old one died (what the heck , 10 years is a long time and we kept the thermal carafe ... great to have when we have guests). I bought a cheapie Mr Coffee figuring we were not at our Michigan home much. That was a mistake .... need good coffee! So broke down and bought a new scale, Technivorm, and a new Virtuoso Plus grinder. Worth every penny!

Best coffee and beautiful equipment.

I have been so very pleased with the Moccamaster so far. I do not know anyone who owns this coffee maker but did a lot of research and decided to give it a try. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier!! I am a morning person but now have an even better reason to get up and get to my extra delicious coffee!! Clive Coffee was super helpful and have been GREAT to work with!!

We've had our Technivorm for so long that I really don't remember when we bought it.....over ten years ago at the very least. We've fresh ground our coffee for over 40 years. We also have a Baratza grinder. The combination makes the best coffee around. The downside is that I have trouble drinking coffee anywhere but home.....I have to sugar it everywhere else. We've had to replace a few parts that wore out over the years and while we were at it we purchased a second carafe. That has made it much more convenient when we have guests. The newer carafe came with an insert that guides the water. As a result, the coffee from the newer carafe stays much hotter for a longer period of time. If I had one criticism I would say that it looks like a junior high school shop project.....not pretty.....but you'd have to take it from my cold dead hands.....I'll never use any other coffeemaker.

We have had the same Technivorm for ten years and given four as gifts. We bought all five of these reliable coffee makers from Clive Coffee because of their exceptionally fast and friendly service. I can see why the Technivorm is listed on Buy Me Once: it keeps on brewing great coffee year after year.

I have used this coffeemaker everyday for years. it brews the best coffee ever and the time it takes is amazing. Out of town guests have all commented on the quality of the brew as well as the minimal time it takes to complete the brew cycle. I would never consider another brand. Well worth the price.

I have owned this coffemaker for 5 years now, and have used it once a day religiously. This is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. Nothing has broken, and it brews like it did the day I bought it. I have not found a better coffee maker on the market. Regarding a couple of others' comments about the plastic materials, and removable base: This is an extremely simple coffee maker to clean and keep clean. Everything comes apart so that you can clean it easily. I actually remember when I first got this maker, I felt the sameway about the removable base. After owning it for five years I would not let that deter anyone. This is a great long lasting machine.

We love this Techivorm Moccamaster KBGT-741 Coffee Maker. Really nothing bad to say about it except possibly, due to the round pouring surface, it is easy to spill if not being careful. Makes a fabulous cup of coffee.

This coffee maker truly lives up to its ratings. While I’ve only had this for a relatively short time I’m impressed. Simple yet brews just fantastic coffee. Thermal carafe is on the small side but is a minor issue. In the end for me it’s all about the taste. Recommend pairing this with a good grinder as the grind is a key part of the equation.

You turn it on and it makes really good coffee, really fast. No bells and whistles, just unbelievable coffee.
