The water filter kit had everything I needed to plumb the ECM Synchronika and relatively easy to install off the cold water line to my kitchen sink. I had enough tubing left over that I was able to make the “flush valve tubing” long enough to reach my sink. This way I didn’t need to do the flush into a bucket, but instead I can do it directly into the sink after installing a new filter.

Had issues with the initial item. The customer service was extremely helpful and quickly resolved our issue.
Hooked it up. Was great for two days. On day three it flooded our kitchen. The plastic top where the filter hooks in had a crack in the plastic. I have no idea why it didn’t leak the first two days. Super cheap plastic.
My particular installation required reversing the filter head to change the direction of flow. I also opted to mount the pressure valve on the incoming line pre-filter (lowering the pressure in the filter), rather than the outgoing line (post filter) as shown in the video. Water hardess decreased from 120 ppm to 50 after installing the filter. So all in all I am quite happy to have a direct water line to the machine with the improvement in water quality as advertised. Would definitely recommend to anyone with hard water issues. Well worth the time and money to enhance the quality of water and protect my investment Ed.

Great water filter. Tastes great and works well with the machine. Setup was a little difficult. Had to find a part from the local hardware store to connect to a dedicated waterline since I was not t-ing off an existing line. Also the instructions for the pressure gage and value are not the best.
It is an excellent complement to obtain a good flavor and at the same time maintain the care of the machine, it works as advertised, thanks.
This system was super easy to set up and plumb Into the machine. The filter is pretty big but still fits easily underneath a kitchen cabinet. After investing so much in an espresso machine I wanted to make sure I was using the best water possible. I had a plumber install mine at the same time they plumbed in my machine and it worked out perfectly. I’d highly recommend it!

Very easy to install, the video explains things well. So far it works great -- we have very hard water in our home, and the filter does what it should.
This thing is a LOT larger than it seems in the vids and in pictures. If you have a tight space to install it, realize it’s almost 3 feet long and very big. Works well though and the included fittings are easy enough to install. I had to use a few more fittings as the input valve fittings were too small.
All of the fittings and parts worked well! Had to customize a little to fit in my location but Everything worked as expected. Making Better coffee now I did with my old filter setup. The pressure regulating valve controls my line pressure works great

Perfect solution for our situation! After major repairs to our espresso machine due to water hardness this did the trick. Easy to install and weekly hardness testing proves it’s working as advertised.
Really helps with setting up your coffee machine. I had 2 small issues: 1. Needed to reapply teflon tape to the threaded connections 2. There were no instructions for calibrating the pressure regulator

This filter system works great! After watching a brief video from Clive and looking over the instructions, I got my new water filtering system installed and it’s working great. It was an easy process and we have some peace of mind about our direct line water supply to our espresso machine. Definitely worth looking into for your espresso machine if you are considering a direct line connection.
Great kit with easy to understand support page posted on Clive. My only feedback would be to not ship some of the connectors already attached and allow the customer to do that themselves...the only connection I had that leaked was one of the pre-attached ones and it was super hard to remove and inspect. Also, depending on what you read, some plumbers say you shouldn't use that white plumber's tape on plastic threads, but that's what this kit ships with. I bought a liquid/goo type of sealant (on Clive's recommendation) that worked far better.
Some people complained that it is too tall to mount under your kitchen cabinet. I just left the water lines a little longer so I could remove the unit, tilt the unit, and replace the filter. Installing is not too bad if you are handy. If you’re not handy, you should contact someone who is. You don’t need to hire a plumber. The filtration and softening works great!!
This filter does almost nothing. I installed the filter and checked my water with the included stips. The show the GH is down to about 50. The problem is when you get some proper water test strips that provide more information, you find out the Carbonate levels are above 240. This gives you a false sense of success. Guess what Carbonate levels do? If I did not test my water with a proper drinking water test strip, I would have messed my machine up in no-time.
