In 2005, La Spaziale introduced the game changing Mini Vivaldi, which made dual boilers more attainable to the masses with simple, affordable technology. And in 2007, things got even better with the release of the updated Mini Vivaldi II. This change brought one degree temperature adjustment and display, faster response of the temperature control (for better stability), and a dual gauge that shows brew and steam pressures. If you’re looking for a compact machine for your business or office, we recommend you consider the plumbed Vivaldi II, or our latest customized version called the LUCCA A53, for their commercial pump and twice as large steam boiler.
Some of the reasons for this machine’s reputation and continued popularity include forgiving dual boiler performance with great steam power and modern saturated style brew boiler (more efficient, so it warms up and reheats faster than e61 machines). La Spaziale is a commercial manufacturer and designs their machines for maximum durability and easy access to parts for service. Simple and intuitive design makes it less intimidating and easier to learn than some machines. You can pull shots manually, or program the shot volume. There is a front loading three liter water reservoir. The machine is easily switchable between 15 and 20 amp modes, meaning you can use the machine on any outlet. If you have 20 amp circuit breakers available, the machine can heat both boilers simultaneously. This cuts warmup time to 15 minutes, and improves steam regeneration for bigger volumes and back to back drinks. If you’re looking for a portable machine with an adjustable temperature controlled boiler and plentiful steam power for entertaining guests, the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi is a great choice.

The reservoir is the water tank an espresso machine pulls water from to fill its boilers. Having a reservoir means a machine can be more portable and work in homes where plumbing isn't an option.
Saturated Group Head
Saturated group heads are essentially surrounded by an extended section of the boiler. This means they warm up much faster than E61 group heads and hold a specified temperature more precisely.
These machines are built from the ground up with the home barista in mind. They span a wide range of needs but what they all have in common is a focus on creating a great user experience in a footprint that will fit on your counter, and look great there too.
Looking to pull some espresso at a wedding or serve cappuccinos to all your holiday party guests? Want to upgrade your office coffee setup? You’ll need a durable machine that can keep up with the crowds. Any of these espresso machines can bring the heat and look beautiful doing it.
Dedicated temperature controlled boilers for brewing and steaming means both functions can happen simultaneously, with the additional advantage of fine tunability. Sour and bitter espresso flavors can be minimized by raising or lowering brew temperature, resulting in a smoother shot. Adjusting the temperature of the steam boiler can increase or decrease the amount of steam power to suit different drink size milk drinks.
Vibratory pumps are the most common design in compact espresso machines, because they’re durable, compact and economical. Although they’re a bit louder than rotary pumps, when adjusted to proper 9 bar brew pressure vibratory pumps offer comparable espresso quality.
Digital Temperature Control
Closed loop temperature control is a very simple and reliable means of maintaining boiler temperature. Brew temperature and steam boiler temperature can be adjusted degree by degree.
Volumetric programming gives the option of precisely dispensing a desired amount of liquid with the push of a button. For example, the double shot button can be programmed for a double shot, and the single shot button can be programmed for a 1oz rinsing flush.
