Description

Introducing the LUCCA Solo espresso machine, the newest and most compact LUCCA machine to date. Designed by Clive and manufactured by Quick Mill, the LUCCA Solo is a single-boiler espresso machine built for the espresso purist who prioritizes the quality of their espresso above all else without compromise. The PID allows for accurate temperature control. The LUCCA flow control device allows for experimentation and maximizing your espresso's flavor. With its slim profile, black and stainless steel colorways, and stock wood touchpoints, the Solo is as beautiful as it is stalwart.

Need to Know

The LUCCA Solo is an espresso purist's dream: a single-boiler E61 machine with flow control, PID temperature stability, and a built-in shot timer, all in a compact, espresso-only design. Built exclusively for Clive by Quick Mill in Italy, the Solo strips away everything except what matters for pulling exceptional shots. No steam wand. No distractions. At $1,495, the Solo delivers commercial-grade espresso performance without the bulk or the four-figure premium of dual-boiler systems. The flow-control paddle gives you real-time control over your extractions, letting you coax different flavors from the same beans. The PID keeps the temperature rock-solid.

Key Features

  • E61 Group Head: Commercial thermal stability and pre-infusion in a home-sized footprint
  • Flow Control Paddle: Adjust pressure on the fly to profile each shot
  • PID Temperature Control: Set your extraction temp to the degree
  • Built-In Shot Timer
  • 2L Water Reservoir
  • Vibratory Pump
  • Walnut Touchpoints: Stainless and black models include warm wood accents, including a bottomless portafilter

Ideal For

The Solo is built for the home barista who drinks espresso exclusively and wants control without complexity. If you're someone who loves the ritual of dialing in a shot, experimenting with pressure profiles, and tasting the difference a half-degree makes, this is your machine. It's also ideal for small kitchens and espresso bars where counter space is at a premium. The Solo's compact footprint and reservoir-only design make it one of the most space-efficient E61 machines available.

Not ideal for households that need milk drinks. The Solo has no steam wand and no plans to add one. If you want a latte, buy a different machine. But if you want an espresso that rivals what you'd get at a specialty café, the Solo delivers at a price point that makes zero compromises on shot quality.
